Leïla Perié leads a research group at the Curie Institute in France, focusing on understanding blood and immune cell production, called hematopoiesis, in both healthy and pathological contexts. Her lab employs single cell approaches, utilizing a combination of experimental and computational methods to delve into the complexities of hematopoiesis. Leïla is also the head of the single cell core facility of her institute. Unraveling the intricate dynamics of blood cell development will not only shed light on fundamental processes of cell production but also holds promise for development of improved treatments for various diseases.
